Tom Rosiek
Tom Rosiek was brought up in the vacuum business, working with his father Brownie in the late 60's and early 70's. His tasks were washing parts and organizing stock. He helped with the cleaning, loading and unloading of inventory and helped his dad rebuild vacuums that were sold wholesale to the local vacuum dealers. In 1979 at the age of 52 Brownie passed away and with Tom at only 16 years old the inventory was sold off. Later that year Tom resurrected the wholesale business that he would carry on into his late teens.
In late 1983, at 20 years old, Tom bought his first location in Lancaster NY . He continued to build the business for the next 8 years priding a good reputation in the town. In 1990 Tom met Sara who at the time lived in Illinois. After marriage he sold the business with thoughts of moving out west but with further discussion decided to stay in Buffalo. In 1991, in a handshake deal, bought a building on Niagara Falls Boulevard and reopened under the name Rosiek's Vacuum with his prior reputation wanted customers to know he was back in the business.
In 2008 moved the Niagara Falls Blvd. location to where it is today on Sheridan Dr.
The McKinley Parkway store is owned by Mike Sims who continues the tradition of customer satisfaction.
